First: February Edition

first - Feb

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

John 14:20

Instead of writing out my thoughts on this verse, I thought I’d try to give you a picture of how I view it “in person”. Under the video link, I will list the other verses referenced in the video. Enjoy!

(If you are an email subscriber, you can view the video by clicking here.)

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”  Deuteronomy 31:8

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor nay powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3

“… God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. … There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4: 16, 18

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses all knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19

Father, we want to learn to live from and rest in your perfect love for us. Open our hearts and minds so we can understand more fully what it means to be hidden in you. We want to know you more. We want to know this love that surpasses all knowledge so that we may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of You. We want more, Lord. So come, and do your work in us, we pray.
