Father God, forgive me for forsaking you – for clinging to the broken promises of unstable cisterns.
This world has nothing for me.
Only you, the Spring of Living Water, can sustain me.
Only you, the Fountain of Life, can satisfy.
Take my life, parched, dry and fill me.
As deep calls out to deep … take me deeper Lord!
Deepen my love for you – my dependence – my awareness.
Bring forth life from my thirsty soul.
You are my life.
It’s only through you, Jesus.
You and you alone!
