In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 
And God said, “Let there be ….”
…. and there was. (Genesis 1:1-3)
Father God, thank you for the power of your spoken Word.
You have the ability to take that which is formless and give it order.
You speak to what is empty and make it full.
I pray that you would speak order and fullness over my life today.
By your sovereign power, draw boundary lines for my reckless heart, and separate me from the things that keep me from knowing you more.
Expose places of darkness, and bring forth your marvelous light.
Replace emptiness with fruitfulness. Death with life.
According to your perfect plan, show your goodness and purpose in my life today.
