Looking for some Christmas project inspiration

Every once in awhile, an antsy feeling comes over me and I know it’s time again.
Time for what?  You ask.
PROJECT TIME!!
Doing projects around the house is one of my very favorite things to do.  It’s a gene I inherited from my mom, who always seems to have a new project up her sleeve.  Sometimes a little, crafty project is enough to satisfy my need to create.  Other times, my visions are somewhat larger.  Thankfully, my mom and I both married handy, project-capable men who usually participate willingly.  Usually.
This weekend, I’m thinking small.  Maybe something for Christmas?
Do  you want to see some of the things that are inspiring me?

Love.  This picture from Nesting Place encapsulates all things I love in home decor.
Every little thing about it!
Maybe Erik needs to hunt more … I am loving those big ‘ol antlers!
Do you see those cute “winter branches”?
Here’s a closer look …

Can you believe that they are made with white duct tape?  Me neither.
I may have to make them.
Right now I’m a little obsessed with free printables found on Pinterest.
This one was given to me last year by my mentor.

She made the matte with wrapping paper. Isn’t she crafty?
She found that great print and many more from Jones Design Company.
I copied her wrapping paper idea with my little deer silhouette.  He’s kinda cute too.

Here’s a few more of my favorite printables.

Chalkboard prints are all over the place right now and I love this one found here.

I also love this mantle.

found here.

{Did you know that barn wood is one of my favorite go-to items for home decor?}
But – I think Erik would kill me if I decided for an entire mantle re-do.
Here’s ours now …

{Mercy – that picture is very yellow.}

What I should make this weekend is a new wreath.
I made this one for the fall, but I love it so much that I’m having a hard time taking it down.

I’ve been looking all over to find some pin-spiration for a new one.  I love this one …

… but I may have to save this idea for my everyday – after Christmas – door decor.
Knowing me, I’ll probably just settle for something simple and woodsy, like this …

OK. Now I’m just stalling.  Off to decide what project to do.
Happy weekend to you!!
