My mind is spinning over the following quote … it could be enough to chew on for the entire weekend!
“We were made by the hands of a Maker to be brave, to take heart and have courage. But we get good at the things we practice, and instead of scales of courage, I played dark melodies of fear.” (Emily P. Freeman)
We get good at the things we practice.
We get good at the things we practice.
We get good at the things we practice.
What have I been practicing?
Am I practicing …
- Surrender or independent living?
- Thankfulness or grumbling and complaining?
- Living by the flesh or living through the Spirit?
- Faith or fear?
- Pride or humility?
- Forgiveness or bitterness?
- Selfishness or honoring others before myself?
The list could go on and on, but ultimately … am I practicing living a life that’s all about Jesus or one that’s all about Carrie?
What about you? What are you practicing?
Happy weekend, my friends!
